In his will, which was proved March 11, 1590/91, he mentions his daughter "Tomyzin" and his son in law "Edward Froste" who served as supervisor of the estate administration.
Many attempts have been made to link his father Richard Belgrave to the distant Belgraves listed in the Herald's Visitations. Thereis no evidence of such a connection at all.
