-Daughter Catherine lists her birth as Darby, PA. in her marriage record.

-On October 21, 1883, married secondly to Lewis C. Galigna in Philadelphia. The funeral home that handled the burial was located in Montgomery County, PA and they transported her to Fernwood Cemetery. Lewis Galigna was from Wilmington, Delaware, where he died in 1905 according to his death certificate. Lewis and Catherine appear on the 1900 Wilmington, DE census, but Catherine says she was born May 1825, cheating a few years off her age. There is no reason however to doubt her birthday was in May.

- "Public Ledger" newspaper gives the date of her marriage, both Robert+Catherine's full names as being "of Blockley". Married by Rev. Mr. Nicholson.
-Original church register of St. John's Methodist Episcopal Church in Philadelphia records the marriage as well as the newspaper account.
- Church membership records for Catherine Edwards state that she married Lewis C. Galigna after Robert's death, and that they then "removed by cert to Wilmington, del April 15, 1884". Catherine probably moved back to Philadelphia after the death of her husband Lewis in 1905, for she died in Philadelphia.
