His son Norman Kinney is listed in the 1900 Erie, NY Census seperately from his wife. He had at least one child, Ellen Malinda Kinney b. 6/18/1877 who married Clare Lorenzo Davis in 1899 in Lancaster, NY
His son Joel Kinney married Amanda Miller in 1868, and they had a son Albert born 1870, died 1882. Joel was living with his sisters Lucinda and Jane in the 1900 census, and in the 1920 Census, he is listed as deaf.
