- A forrester. Comissioned by Count Louis IV, Landgrave of Hesse-Marburg. January 1, 1586: "Peter Wirwat is at 1586 commissioned by Count Louis as Forrester appointed. The salary he receives 30 flourins each 26 Albus also a florin for shoeing, 2 flourins each for straw and hay, 2 bushels of corn, 7 chickens, (twice annually for each) Cloth for the usual court dress, feed and belt stuff for your horse, 4 cords of firewood. From each tree, which is given by grace, 2 albus, assigned as the forester and forest scribe, and the mortgage Schilling, and for each five impounded sheep and for each wild seized dog, a Schreckenberger"
