In March, Alex began to talk up a storm. He learned to sit steadilly
on his own and play with his toys while sitting. He saw two movies in the
theater with mommy, Hitch, and The Incredibles He loved The Incredibles.
His reflux (spitting-up) was much better by the end of the month, although
there was still some puking. He did spit up into the laptop keyboard,
which totally destroyed it. We were able to fix it with a new keyboard
fom Ebay though.
- March 4: Alex went to Philadelphia and Bryn Mawr and had dinner at
the Thai place with Aunt Jessie and "Uncle" Martin.
- March 5: Alex met
the Karles when we went to Fair Haven to visit Mike and Bill because Mike
was in town from Georgia
- March 9: Alex got sick for the first
time. He didn't look sick, but he had a small cough, and a 100.1
temp which came down with Tylenol
- March 10: Alex had his first taste of
apples today sucking on a whole apple
- March 18: Alex went to the Rehearsal and
Rehearsal Dinner for Aunt Kristin's wedding. The dinner was at the Rum
Runner, and Alex heard someone play the guitar for the first time. He
also saw his first person in a kilt besides himself. He met the
Bennetts for the first time today. He slept on the floor in
Grandma Cook's house.
- March 19: Alex attended Aunt
Kristin's wedding, and had a lot of fun. He only slept for 20 minutes,
and was up past midnight dancing and bouncing to the music.
- March 21: Alex had his 6-month appointment today, and he got
the same shots he got at his 4 month, but no reaction this time.
He was 27 and 3/8" tall
- March 25:
We drove down this Friday night for Eater weekend with Grampa and
- March 26: Alex got his first small taste of
cantiloupe at breakfast. We had easter dinner this night, and afterwards,
Alex met Rachel Warren and her fiancee Leo for the first time. Alex very
much enjoyed watching his parents play "Dance Dance Revolution" late into
