-Born In Marburg, Germany, moved to Holland, and then to Philadelphia.
He was born the 11th of 12 children of his parents. His father was a
dyer, as were his ancestors back another four generations at least. The
first ancestor of his to reside in Marburg was Georg Albrecht Bersch who
was accepted as a young citizen 18th May 1670.

Christopher and is listed as 52 years old on Manifest.
-Was Buried in German Luteran Cemetery. (since probably moved multiple
times)
- The Naturalization Record of Christopher Bersch in Philadelphia states that this is indeed
the ship that Christopher traveled on, and that he traveled with son
Henry.
-On Manifest listed as "Backer" for occupation. Listed in
1817 Philadelphia Directory as Christopher Busch,
baker 156 Shippen. In 1818 (first year after his death), the Philly
directory lists
Bersch, Elizabeth, baker, corner Shippen and Passyunk. 1819 same listing.
By 1820, It is Henry Bersch who is listed as this address instead as baker
