Elizabeth is listed as being born in Pennsylvania. The probate record of
a Henry Bersch Sr. who died 1843 names Elizabeth as his widow. The 1840
Census does indeed list Henry, Sr. as living in the same Southwark 4
district of Pennsylvania.
