-Claimed to be Jame McMillan, and Father claimed to be one Duncan
McMillan, but the great-grandfather of the genealogist who claims this (Ralph McNaughton
West) on _both_ sides is listed as Duncan McMillan, and it seems doubtful
that second cousins happened to meet in the New World more than 100 years
later despite living 1500 miles apart in the US.
